Technology has, in one way or another, become one of the driving forces in just about every aspect of our lives. From communication to cooking, as the saying goes, "There's an app (or device) for that." Specifically in the kitchen, however, gadgets are nothing new. However, the introduction of Brava, adoringly dubbed the "Easy-Bake oven for grown-ups," has the sauce that shoppers say is both "game-changing" and "life-changing."

While there are seemingly countless countertop appliances on the market that boast signature tech features like the ever-popular Instant Pot and the slew of air fryers available at our fingertips, none seem to boast the elegance and targeted execution of the Brava.
So what exactly makes this appliance so special? Firstly, unlike conventional ovens and heat-powered appliances, it uses light only throughout the entire cooking process.
According to the product's description, this particular technique "allows Brava to achieve a blend of speed and consistency." With lamps located all throughout the device's interior, the Brava "can roast vegetables in half the time, poach eggs with ease, and sear steaks without overcooking them." Also, all throughout this robust cooking time, the outside of the device remains completely cool to the touch.

The cooking process also couldn't be simpler thanks to the guided prompts and instructions showcased on the touchscreen, which is located at the top of the device.
Here's how it works: Eliminating the need to stand over a stove or grill or constantly having the need to flip any proteins, Brava just requires that users prepare the ingredients. Once seasoned to your liking, place the ingredients on the suggested tray (included in the purchase), and slide them into the device. Now for the fun part: Follow the prompts, and let Brava work its magic — It's that easy!

Also, users can cook up to three courses at once with this device, and, thanks to its internal cameras, the cooking process can be monitored from the screen or via the Brava app which also alerts you when your food is done.
On days when you're also not sure of what to prepare, Brava's built-in recipe guide features hundreds of full meal recipes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, desserts and more) and directions to get you started.

Proving that this kitchen gadget is arguably the only powerhouse your kitchen needs, Brava can sear, toast, bake, dehydrate, air fry, reheat and keep food warm. To give you an idea of its power and precision, this appliance can even roast an entire whole chicken in just 30 minutes!
So, what are shoppers' honest opinions of this one-of-a-kind kitchen gadget? According to one five-star reviewer, it's hands down, the "best appliance ever!"
"It took my mom a lot to convince me to get to buy the Brava. Mostly because I did not believe that something that good existed!" the shopper wrote. "It was love at first sight! it is sooooo easy and the meals come out just perfect. Love it!"
A second shopper dubbed it a "game-changing, life-changing oven" before gushing that it "has solved all of my problems when it comes to cooking and eating well."
"It has never been easier, faster, and simpler for me to make any food or meal of choice!" the shopper added. "I can make a full tray of butternut squash in 12 minutes, start to finish! I can make incredible seared salmon in 5 minutes and 30 seconds!"

A New York Times review of the Brava also sang its praises, dubbing it the next best kitchen invention to take over.
"The microwave oven did not revolutionize home cooking," author Florence Fabricant wrote. "Nor did sous-vide gadgetry. Now there's a new contender: the Brava Oven."
The folks at Brava have offered In The Know readers an exclusive $200-off discount on any of the three models(Starter Kit, Bake & Breakfast or Chef's Choice). Simply click on this link and a banner indicating that the discount is applied will appear at the top of your screen.
It should be noted that the only difference among these three options is the included number of extra cookware pieces and pans — each package comes with the appliance as well as a two-year Brava Plus Membership.
This complimentary membership is described as "the cloud service" that brings Brava chefs "into your kitchen." Through this program, premium recipes, cook modes and more are added to your Brava via an automatic software update that's pushed to the device every week via WiFi. The latest update (May 20) included a new slow cooker function, adding to the slew of features currently available for the device.
